Remember to collect a formal contract after you have submitted a proposal. Do not ever go for companies who can only give a word of assurance. Having the right documents would always help you get back at them. Also, check the outlines of the contract. It should mention what the web designer will do for you, how long it will take, the cost you are paying, and what you have settled on supplying. The contract will avoid discrepancies between both the parties.
