The use of a low profile video card can often counteract some of these requirements. A low profile video card is not only smaller, and therefore requires less room in the tower, it also usually does not require dedicated power lines or additional cooling. This can make a low profile video card significantly quieter, as the heatsinks and fans on other video cards can be especially loud.

The video card inside a computer is a device that is connected to the motherboard and is responsible for handling the processing and rendering of information in a graphical way. While these cards are very important for running personal computer (PC) games on a computer, they are also used simply for basic video output from the computer to a monitor or similar display. hello friends, My concern with a 5670 is that the card can pull a good 40-50w more than the 210. With a 240w supply that makes me nervous. I agree it would perform better but I don't feel it is necessary given the very old game requirements involved. thanks Bankruptcy Law Attorney California

Hello friends, I noticed some conversations from 2009 and April 2010 on Low Profile Graphics cards. I think the HD5570 (1 gb) was the last one semi-agreed upon. Anything newer? I have a 460 watt power supply and a small (but not slim) case and only one 16x slot. The computer has an I7 processor with 12GB memory. thanks
