A small bathroom makeover can make the difference between a utilitarian, public toilet ambiance and a spa-like petite retreat. Even in small spaces, a few design touches and additions can make an enormous amount of difference. Choosing the best small bathroom makeover will depend on budget and resources, but even inexpensive additions and changes can make a tiny bathroom appear larger and more comfortable. Ceiling lights

hello friends, I'll share what we did in one of our bathrooms this past winter. It measures approximately 5 x 8. We left the bathtub and the tile around it as is. Painted the existing vanity because it was well made and better than new ones priced for several hundred dollars. The big changes were a new tile floor, granite vanity surface with an undermounted basin and new faucet. Additionally we removed the by-pass shower enclosure in favor of a curved shower rod to make the space appear larger. We also removed the builders glued-on mirror and inadequate medicine cabinet and installed a larger one with a framed mirror door. And new hardware, especially the train rack for towel storage.
thanks
