The walima ceremony signifies that a couple is starting a new life that is blessed and the celebration of walima is the responsibility of the Muslim groom. A walima ceremony is basically a banquet with the guests from the groom's and bride's family which celebrates the union of a single Muslim female and a Muslim male into the bonds of matrimony.

Hello Friends Islamic weddings are comprehensive and the celebrations continue for weeks before and after the wedding. While all the other functions are optional and are celebrated to increase the festivity and colors of the wedding, the two very important and significant parts of a Muslim wedding are the nikkah and walima ceremony. When the single Muslims decide to marry one another with the blessings of their families, the nikkah ceremony is the actual point that binds the couple in the matrimonial bond in presence of witnesses.
